The most popular species caught on Haliburton Lake are Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, and Rock Bass. Please use your best judgment when determining where you can

fish and follow local rules and regulations.

Golfing

Lakeside Golf Club is a mature course designed to provide challenge and enjoyment to golfers of all skill levels.  With a series of three sets of tee blocks measuring 3235 yards from the blue tees, this nine hole par 36 golf course is surrounded by evergreens, rolling hills and breathtaking views of Green Lake.

 Haliburton Forest

The Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve has outdoor adventures throughout the year -from the wolf centre to Canopy tours to Snowmobile rentals and trails and much more.

 Scenic Lookout Tower

The original Dorset Scenic Outlook Tower was built in 1922, was 25 metres high (82 feet) and used as a fire lookout tower until 1961. The current tower was built in 1967 and is 30 metres high (100 feet) and was erected for visitors to enjoy the view.
